Since I started on this Windows Live Spaces do-hickie a couple of years ago, I've often commented on how much it looks like a consumerized version of Microsoft / Windows SharePoint Services. I am very excited about an opportunity to attend the SharePoint Summit 2009. I hope to return to work with more knowledge, skills and creative ideas for our quickly evolving SharePoint sites and applications. I can't believe they pay me to learn and use this stuff! I wish I had more time to spend on it. March 23 Facebook updates on Windows Live Spaces? This is rather quaint. Not that I would want to incorporate one into the other. It's frustrating enough that both WLS and Facebook have changed the home page displays. Too much change, too fast for some people. Soon they might just merge into one big social network. So Spring is here and I'm feeling a bit perkier now that I don't have to traipse through snow and slush.  I planted some beefsteak tomato seeds indoors this afternoon. Hopefully this year will be better than last for tomato plants. It helps if I remember to water my wee vegetable and flower gardens in-between the work and volunteering activities.
